About Your Provider
Shana Thomas, NP provides compassionate patient-centered gynecologic and obstetric services at Viva Eve. She joined the practice after working for over 10 years in Labor & Delivery at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Shana is passionate about women’s health and specifically about providing the most up-to-date and comprehensive care to women suffering from symptomatic fibroids and adenomyosis.
Shana has first-hand knowledge of the devastating effects untreated fibroids can have on women’s health and her everyday life because she has several family members suffering from this often debilitating condition. Shana is also trained to provide full-scope women’s health services, including prenatal, and postpartum visits, Pap exams, STD screening, breast exams, family planning, preconception counseling, management of PCOS, endometriosis, and menopausal symptoms. Shana places a high priority on preventive care, wellness strategies, and health education.
Her goal is to provide quality care in a comfortable setting and to empower women to get healthy and stay healthy, so they can experience their lives to the fullest. Shana received her Master’s Degree in Nursing from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, School of Public Health and Bachelor’s Degree at the College of New Rochelle.
