by Actual Viva Eve Fibroid & Obstetrics Patient Nadine Hussami
In 2022, my beloved Ob/Gyn, Dr. Sophia Drosinos, moved to Viva Eve—and I followed her without a second thought. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made for my care.
Why I Fell in Love With the Practice
From my very first appointment, I noticed how different Viva Eve felt from every other Ob/Gyn practice I’d been to. Every exam room had its own ultrasound machine. Nothing felt fragmented or spread out. Everything I needed was right there, in one place, with one team. The practice felt modern and thoughtfully designed in a way I hadn’t experienced before.
And on top of that, I never had to pay anything out of pocket. Even though Viva Eve was out of network with my insurance, my care was covered. As someone navigating the costs that come with growing a family, that meant more to me than I can say.
A Pregnancy Unlike Any Other
By the time I became pregnant with my second child, I was already a Viva Eve patient—and that’s when I really came to understand how exceptional this team is.
The care is unbelievably hands-on. At one point, I experienced bleeding related to a hematoma, and I was genuinely scared. I called the office, and within an hour or two, I was in an exam room being seen. That kind of responsiveness is rare, and it made all the difference in how supported and reassured I felt throughout my pregnancy.
The Saturday appointments were another huge benefit. I never had to choose between getting the care I needed and working around a rigid schedule. I also had an ultrasound at every visit, which stood out to me compared with what friends were experiencing at other practices. Even routine details, like providing a urine sample at each appointment, reinforced my impression that the team was taking a proactive approach to my care. It felt like a completely different philosophy.
I also want to mention Dr. Ben Thornton, who cared for me during part of my time at the practice. He was wonderful, even though he has since moved on from Viva Eve.
Delivery Day and Beyond
When it came time to deliver, I was cared for by Dr. Sohan, and I can honestly say he was incredible. He was skilled, attentive, and made sure I felt supported every step of the way. My recovery afterward was smooth, and I felt like myself again sooner than I expected.
Why I’m Not Going Anywhere Else
I’ve been a Viva Eve patient through my second pregnancy, and I don’t say this lightly: I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. The technology, the accessibility, the proactive approach, and the way the entire team makes you feel cared for rather than just processed—it’s a different standard of care.
I’ve already told so many people about the practice. Many of my friends go there, too, and have had wonderful things to say.
If you’re pregnant and searching for a practice that will truly show up for you—not just at your scheduled appointments, but when you need them most—this is the team I’d point you toward every time.
