WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO PURSUE A CAREER IN MEDICINE?
I have always had a passion for the sciences (biology especially) and for helping others. It seemed that medicine was the natural and only choice for not just a career, but a meaningful life.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT BEING AN ANESTHESIOLOGIST?
Specializing in anesthesia, which combines critical care, general medicine, surgery, cardiology and pulmonology, allows me to help alleviate pain and anxiety of my patients at their most critical and vulnerable moments in their lives.
WHAT’S A WORK-RELATED ACCOMPLISHMENT THAT YOU’RE REALLY PROUD OF?
Being recognized with multiple awards over the years for excellence in anesthesia, not only by colleagues but most importantly, by patients I have had the privilege to serve.
