About Your Provider
Dr. Kimberley Downer is a board-certified OB/GYN specializing in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and comprehensive women’s healthcare. She combines a modern, evidence-based approach with a warm, easygoing style that helps patients feel comfortable from the moment they walk in.
Her clinical interests include fibroids, abnormal bleeding, preventive gynecology, pregnancy care, and high-risk obstetrics. She performs minimally invasive procedures including laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and LEEP, with a focus on helping patients recover quickly and get back to their lives with confidence.
Dr. Downer completed her residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she was selected as Administrative Chief Resident, and earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She also works closely with medical students and residents and enjoys being involved in education and mentorship.
