About Me

James Tenner is an execution-oriented executive with a focus on scaling organizations.

He has 30+ years’ experience leading organizations of various sizes and stages of growth. Jim is known for his expertise in working with start-ups, scaling organizations for growth and financial turnaround of troubled organizations. His industry knowledge includes e-commerce, hospitality, SaaS, financial services, education, and medical sectors. In the medical sector, Jim’s experience includes work with a neurocognitive organization and a consumer medical equipment e-commerce company.

As a Vice President at Spectrafem Jim works with the leadership team on strategy development, scaling and organizational design initiatives that support the rapid growth of this women’s healthcare organization.

Previously, Jim was COO of Serraview, a space management SaaS organization that was successfully sold to a PE firm in 2018. Prior to joining Serraview, Jim sold Broadleaf Services, a regional data storage and protection firm, which he founded and led. Jim is the former President and Chief Operating Office of AT&T Capital Leasing Services which was taken public and then sold to Newcourt Capital. Jim is also the former President and Chief Operating Officer of the Family Education Network, which was sold to Pearson, LLC.

Jim has a BA in Economics from Middlebury College and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College. He is an advisor to several young firms in the hospitality, e-commerce, and technology sectors.
