What do you love most about being an IR?

Problem-solving and thinking outside the box are key traits of an Interventional Radiologist. Interventional Radiologists do a variety of technically sophisticated minimally invasive procedures that make a difference in patients lives.

Who has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work?

I was most influenced by mentors who taught me to never take short-cuts, not to be a “cowboy,” and the limits of what can be done.

What is your favorite quote?

“Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.” – Albert Schweitzer

Sarah S. My doctor made sure that I understood all results and she never rushed the visit, encouraging me to ask more questions. She thoroughly explained everything and I left the office knowing more information than ever before.
