Daniel Levin, MD is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist with experience in minimally invasive vascular and non-vascular procedures since 1998. His focus is on women’s health with special emphasis on UFE.

Having served as Director of Interventional Radiology at SUNY/Downstate Medical Center, Dr. Levin is currently an attending physician at Elmhurst Hospital Center and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami and then completed both his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC.

Problem-solving and thinking outside the box are key traits of an Interventional Radiologist. Interventional Radiologists do a variety of technically sophisticated minimally invasive procedures that make a difference in patients lives.


WHO HAS INFLUENCED YOU MOST WHEN IT COMES TO HOW YOU APPROACH YOUR WORK?

I was most influenced by mentors who taught me to never take short-cuts, not to be a “cowboy,” and the limits of what can be done.
